Beam Signing Ceremony
Fountainview Charter Members, board members, architectural and construction team administrators and staff gathered at Eisenberg Village on Thursday, March 4, 2009, to sign their way into history. This was a pivotal point in the construction progress and marks a milestone worthy of celebration.
Approximately 60 individuals signed their names on the final beam, a significant component of this progressive senior living community, before the construction team hoisted it into place.
Braving the elements, guests enjoyed a festive ceremony featuring light refreshments and a project update from JHA President and CEO, Molly Forrest. Ms. Forrest shared project milestones with the attendees and outlined important components that are being incorporated into the community, including a kitchen exclusive to Fountainview and energy efficient roofing. Residents will be able to work with a home sale service that provides expertise on timing and pricing of home sales and move-in coordination, and can look forward to moving into their new homes in January of 2010.
